All motors are maintenance-free and waterproof (not submersible). In the nominal load range, even after several hours of operation, there is only slight heating. All motors are brushless DC motors (BLDC) with 3 star-connected phases and 3 Hall sensors (operating voltage 5V, open collector output). A motor controller is required to operate the motors. If a controller is also ordered, the motors will be supplied with the appropriate connector. The motors are also suitable as generators and therefore also for recuperation (if no freewheel is installed) with good efficiency.
